Synopsis
The film explores the "missing years" of Jesus, focusing on his life from ages three to twelve. After King Herod, fearing the birth of the Messiah, orders the execution of all Hebrew male children under the age of three, Joseph takes his family to Egypt. In Egypt, Jesus, beginning to understand his divine nature, expresses a wish to return to Nazareth. During the journey back with his mother Mary, Jesus experiences visions of events that will occur in his adult life.
