Variety Lights
Synopsis
In Italy, Checco Dal Monte manages a troupe of traveling performers who have enthusiasm but limited talent. During a small‑town engagement he meets Lily Antonelli, described as starry‑eyed and attractive, and hires her as a dancer for the show. Lily quickly draws large audiences, provoking resentment from Checco’s mistress, Melina Amour; however, Lily aspires to a higher‑profile role.
