Synopsis

The story follows six former creative anarchists who lived as house squatters in Berlin during its heyday in the 1980s, when the city was still an island within the former East Germany. At the end of that decade they went their separate ways, except for Tim and Hotte, who remained true to their ideals and continued to address the issues they had pursued as a group. In 2000, with Berlin serving as Germany’s new capital, an event forces the group out of existential reason to reunite and ultimately confront the reasons for their separation twelve years earlier.
