Synopsis
Jamie Fitzpatrick and Nona Alberts come from different social and economic backgrounds, but they share a common goal: to improve their community's failing school and secure a better future for their children. Determined not to be deterred by any challenges, the two women confront a bureaucratic system entrenched in traditional practices and work to revitalize a faculty that has lost its enthusiasm for teaching.
