Abbey Lee

Abbey Lee is an Australian model and actress known for her work in film, television, and theatre. She made her feature film debut in 2015 in George Miller's post-apocalyptic action film *Mad Max: Fury Road*, starring alongside Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. Lee has since appeared in a variety of films, including the Australian drama *Ruben Guthrie* directed by Brendan Cowell; the Lionsgate/Summit fantasy film *Gods of Egypt* with Gerard Butler and Geoffrey Rush; the comedy *Office Christmas Party* directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, co-starring Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, and TJ Miller; Nicolas Winding Refn's psychological thriller *The Neon Demon* with Elle Fanning, Keanu Reeves, and Bella Heathcote; and *The Dark Tower*, based on Stephen King's novels and starring Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba. She also appeared in the Australian film *1%*, opposite Eddie Baroo and Ryan Corr, for which she was nominated for Best Lead Actress at the 2018 AACTA Awards. More recently, Lee starred in *Welcome Stranger*, directed by Justin Kelly and co-starring Riley Keough and Caleb Landry Jones, and *Elizabeth Harvest*, with Ciaran Hinds and Carla Gugino. In 2018, she made her theatre debut as Yeliena in the Hampstead Theatre's London production of *Uncle Vanya*, directed by Terry Johnson. In 2020, she appeared in the HBO series *Lovecraft Country*, produced by Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams, alongside Michael Kenneth Williams, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Courtney B. Vance, and Jonathan Majors. Before pursuing acting, Lee was a prominent international model, working with designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana, and appearing multiple times on the cover of *Australian Vogue*.
