Biography

Akiko Yajima was a Japanese voice actress best known for her role as Shinnosuke Nohara in the long-running anime series *Crayon Shin-chan*. She voiced the character from the show's debut until her retirement on June 29, 2018, after which Yumiko Kobayashi took over the role. Yajima also provided voices for numerous other anime characters, including Relena Peacecraft in *Mobile Suit Gundam Wing*, Ayumi Himekawa in *Glass Mask*, and Sally Yoshinaga in *The Brave Express Might Gaine*. In video games, she voiced Annie Barrs in the *Tales of* series and Longlong in *Shizuku-chan*. She also provided voices for characters in the *Spyro the Dragon* series until 2000. Additionally, Yajima dubbed Anakin Skywalker and Harry Potter in some live-action films and video games.
