Biography

Alexander Hilary Kurtzman is an American filmmaker known for his work as a writer and producer in collaboration with Roberto Orci. He co-wrote the scripts for several major films, including Transformers (2007), Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). Kurtzman made his directorial debut with the 2012 film People Like Us, which he co-wrote with Orci and Jody Lambert. He later directed and co-wrote The Mummy (2017).
