Álex Pina is a Spanish screenwriter, television producer, and former journalist known for creating popular Spanish television series. He is best known for *La Casa de Papel* (2017–2021), a heist drama that gained international acclaim, and *Vis a Vis* (2015–2020), a prison drama. Pina has also worked on other series such as *Los hombres de Paco*, *El embarcadero* (2019–2020), *White Lines* (2020), *Sky Rojo* (2021–2023), and *Billionaires' Bunker* (2025). In 2019, *The Hollywood Reporter* recognized him as one of their "Top International Showrunners."
