Ali Ahn

Alison Ahn is an American actress who has appeared in television series including *Billions*, *Orange Is the New Black*, *Raising Dion*, and *The Diplomat*.

She grew up in Pasadena, California, and is of Korean descent. Ahn studied dance and theatre during her undergraduate years at Yale University, graduating in 2003. She later earned an MFA in acting from the California Institute of the Arts in 2006.

Ahn made her Broadway debut in a short-lived revival of *The Heidi Chronicles*, opposite Elisabeth Moss, which ran from February to May 2015. Off-Broadway, she starred in Rajiv Joseph's *Letters of Suresh* at the Tony Kiser Theatre from September to October 2021. A *Times* review noted that her "messy charisma" enhanced the play's letterwriting structure.

In television, Ahn played recurring roles in *Billions* (2016–2018) and *Orange Is the New Black* (2018). She portrayed Suzanne Wu, a biotechnology company CEO, in the Netflix series *Raising Dion* (2019–2022), a role that became a series regular in the second season. She also plays Eidra Park, a CIA station chief, in the drama series *The Diplomat* (2023–present). She is set to appear in the Disney+ superhero series *Agatha: Darkhold Diaries*.

Ahn is in a relationship with actor William Jackson Harper, with whom she co-starred in an outdoor production of *Romeo + Juliet* in New York in 2012.
