Biography

Amy Poehler is an American actress and comedian known for her work in sketch comedy, sitcoms, and comedy films. She has received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards, along with nominations for a Peabody Award and a Grammy Award. In 2011, Poehler was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world. She was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015 for her contributions to comedy.
