Biography
Anthony Harvey (born 3 June 1931) was a British filmmaker who began his career in the 1950s as a film editor before transitioning to directing in the mid-1960s. Harvey worked as an editor on fifteen films and directed thirteen. His second film as a director, *The Lion in Winter* (1968), earned him a Directors Guild of America Award and a nomination for the Academy Award for Directing.
