Biography

Asia Argento is an Italian actress and filmmaker known for her work in both European and international cinema. The daughter of renowned director Dario Argento, she appeared in several of his films and gained wider recognition through roles in *XXX* (2002), *Land of the Dead* (2005), and *Marie Antoinette* (2006). Argento has also appeared in notable films such as *Queen Margot* (1994), *Last Days* (2005), and *Islands* (2011). In addition to her acting career, she has directed two films: *The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things* (2004) and *Misunderstood* (2014). Argento has received critical acclaim for her performances, earning two David di Donatello awards for Best Actress and three Italian Golden Globes.
