Biography

Brian Jordan Alvarez is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker known for his work in television and film. He created and starred in the FX comedy series *English Teacher*. Alvarez has also appeared in recurring roles, including Estéfan on *Will & Grace* (2018–2020) and Wesley on *Jane the Virgin* (2015–2016). He has made appearances in films such as *M3GAN* and *80 for Brady*. In addition to his acting career, Alvarez is recognized for his original songs and for producing his own projects, most notably the 2016 web series *The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo*.
