Biography

Denis Colin Leary is an American stand-up comedian and actor who rose to prominence in the 1990s through appearances on MTV and stand-up specials such as *No Cure for Cancer* (1993) and *Lock 'n Load* (1997). During the same decade, he began taking on film and television roles, appearing in movies including *Judgment Night* (1993), *Demolition Man* (1993), *The Ref* (1994), *Two If By Sea* (1996), *Suicide Kings* (1997), *Wag the Dog* (1997), *Monument Ave.* (1998), and *The Thomas Crown Affair* (1999). Known for his distinctive voice and energetic style, Leary has become a recognizable presence in both comedic and dramatic roles.
