Synopsis

George Jung is a boy growing up in a struggling family during the 1950s. His mother frequently argues with his husband, who is trying to support the family. Eventually, it becomes clear that George's father is unable to provide for them, and the family goes bankrupt. Determined not to face the same fate, George, along with his friend Tuna, begins dealing marijuana in the 1960s. He achieves significant success in California during that decade but is later arrested and imprisoned. While in jail, he learns about cocaine and becomes interested in its potential. After his release, he enters the cocaine trade and becomes wealthy by smuggling the drug into America. However, his success is short-lived, and he eventually faces serious consequences.
