Biography

Edward Allen Harris is an American actor and filmmaker known for his performances in film. He received Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor for his roles in *Apollo 13* (1995), *The Truman Show* (1998), and *The Hours* (2002). Harris also directed and starred in *Pollock* (2000), for which he was nominated for Best Actor. He later directed *Appaloosa* (2008).
