Elvis Costello, the stage name of Declan Patrick MacManus, is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, author, and television host. He is known for revitalizing the lyrical traditions of artists like Bob Dylan and Van Morrison with the energy and attitude of punk rock. His work is characterized by intricate wordplay and a diverse range of musical styles. He has received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards and two Ivor Novello Awards.
