Biography

Elya Baskin is a Latvian-American character actor who has appeared in film and television. He first gained recognition for playing Anatoly, the best friend of Robin Williams' character, in *Moscow on the Hudson* (1984). Baskin is best known for his role as Mr. Ditkovich, Peter Parker's landlord, in *Spider-Man 2* (2004) and *Spider-Man 3* (2007). Earlier in his career, he portrayed cosmonaut Max Brailovsky in *2010: The Year We Make Contact* (1984).
