Biography
Gary Lee Sandy is an American actor best known for his role as Andy Travis, the program director at a struggling radio station in the sitcom *WKRP in Cincinnati*. The show, which aired from 1978 to 1982, followed the misadventures of the station's staff as they attempted to revitalize the station's image and ratings. Sandy's portrayal of the well-meaning but often exasperated Andy Travis became one of the show's defining performances.
