Biography

George Wyner is an American actor known for his diverse roles in film and television. He gained recognition for his supporting role as Colonel Sandurz in the comedy *Spaceballs* (1987), a role he is set to reprise in the upcoming sequel *Spaceballs: The New One* (2027). Wyner also appeared in films such as *My Favorite Year* (1982), *To Be or Not to Be* (1983), *The Devil's Advocate*, *The Postman*, *American Pie 2*, *Not Another Teen Movie*, *A Serious Man* (2009), and *Trouble with the Curve* (2012).

In television, Wyner is best known for his recurring role as Assistant District Attorney Irwin Bernstein on the NBC police procedural *Hill Street Blues* (1981–1987). He also starred as Deputy Max Rubin in the sitcom *She's the Sheriff* (1987–1989).
