Biography

Gerald Lee McRaney is an American television and film actor known for his work in a variety of popular series. He gained prominence for his roles in *Simon & Simon*, *Major Dad*, *Promised Land*, and *House of Cards*. McRaney has also appeared in *NCIS: Los Angeles* as Admiral Hollace Kilbride, *Jericho*, *Deadwood*, and *Castle*, where he played recurring antagonist Mason Wood. More recently, he portrayed Barlow Connally in *Longmire* and Dr. Nathan Katowski in *This Is Us*, a role that earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
