Biography

Gerard Parkes was an Irish-Canadian actor born in Dublin who moved to Toronto in 1956. He is best known for his role as Doc on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television series *Fraggle Rock*. Parkes also appeared in the films *The Boondock Saints* and its sequel *The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day*, playing the role of a bartender in both.
