Biography
Harry was born in Paris, France, and raised in New York City. He began his professional career as an actor at the age of twelve when he was cast as one of Fagin's boys in the hit Broadway show *Oliver!* This marked the start of his professional journey in show business. Throughout his teen years, Harry appeared in numerous commercials and theater projects while also pursuing a career as a singer and musician. In 1975, Harry, along with his future wife Bonnie and their two daughters, Tracey and Missy, moved to California. Things progressed quickly for him there, as he booked guest roles in *MASH*, *8 Is Enough*, *Maude*, and other television shows. He also appeared in films such as *The World's Greatest Lover*, *American Family*, and his favorite, *Carrie*. In 1981, after much consideration, Harry applied for a job at a small talent agency and began a new chapter as a talent agent. One year later, with two employees, he founded Harry Gold & Associates, representing adult actors. The business expanded rapidly, and soon the youth division was established. HGA was the first agency to represent both adult and young actors on a large scale. "We pride ourselves in saying that for many years we've represented some of the top actors in the business, young and old. While we've developed the careers of some of the biggest names in the business, we also have the honor of representing Oscar, Golden Globe, Emmy, and Tony winners." Through several name changes over the years, the company permanently changed its name to TalentWorks in 2002 and remains known by that name today. Since 1992, Harry has been a proud, elected board member of the Association of Talent Agents. He is married to Bonnie, has five daughters, and seven grandchildren, with more on the way.
