Biography

John Allen McDorman IV is an American actor who has appeared in a variety of television series. He headlined the CBS comedy-drama *Limitless* from 2015 to 2016 and played the male lead in the sitcoms *Are You There, Chelsea?* (2012) and *Manhattan Love Story* (2014). McDorman was also a series regular on the ABC Family comedy-drama *Greek* from 2007 to 2011, and appeared in the fourth season of the Showtime comedy-drama *Shameless* in 2014. He had a role in the revival of the CBS sitcom *Murphy Brown* in 2018, and portrayed Alan Shepard in the Disney+ historical drama *The Right Stuff* in 2020.
