Biography

Jeff T. Buco is a Rhode Island-raised, Los Angeles-based performer. Known for his sharp wit and vocal power, he has a dynamic range and a natural talent for both drama and comedy. Early roles included Judas in *JCS* and Seymour in *LSOH*. He has performed on the same bill as Melissa Manchester, Lucie Arnaz, and Linda Lavin at Jim Caruso’s Cast Party with Billy Stritch on piano. He studied improvisation at The Groundlings School with Allison Dunbar and Kevin Berntson, on-camera training at LA On-Camera Training Center with Jamison Haase, and acting at Brian Reise Acting Studio with Brian Reise. Jeff received voice training under Flo St. Jean in the genres of classical, jazz, country, pop, rock, R&B, and musical theatre. He has sung in Latin, Spanish, French, and Italian, and has performed at fundraisers, masses, weddings, wakes, funerals, and receptions. Though he does not classify himself as a dancer, he studied ballet under Eva Marie Pacheco and Stephanie Albanese, jazz under Angela Coburn and Elaine Colaneri, and had the privilege of taking class with the late Luigi at his studio in New York City. He regularly takes class with Luigi’s protégé and collaborator Jill Strauss. He can be seen in the background of *27 Dresses*, *Ted*, *Funeral Kings*, *Franklin & Bash*, *Body of Proof*, *What Not To Wear*, and *How I Met Your Mother*. On stage, he has appeared in original works such as *The Rabbit Queen*, Bill Haller's *Rock Van Winkle*, *Hat Dance In The Key Of Jazz*, and *The Scarlet Letter: A New Musical*. As a member of Color & Light Theatre Ensemble, he performed as Man 2 in Joe Iconis' *Things To Ruin*, and as a soloist in the concerts *GenderSwap*, *A Very Merry Larry O'Keefe Concert*, and *Shamrock*. Recent projects include Naturalized Citizen in *Citizen Jane*, Barbershop Quartet in *Sexy Hitler*, Elder Gion in the short film *Lido + Mirette*, and himself in the music video "Ballin'" for Good Peoplez.
