Biography

Jeroen Aart Krabbé is a Dutch actor, film director, and painter known for his work in both Dutch- and English-language films. Internationally recognized for his roles in Paul Verhoeven's *Soldier of Orange* (1977) and *The Fourth Man* (1983), he also gained prominence for his portrayal of the villain General Georgi Koskov in the James Bond film *The Living Daylights* (1987). Krabbé appeared in several other notable films, including *The Prince of Tides* (1991), *The Fugitive* (1993), and *Immortal Beloved* (1994). In 1998, he made his directorial debut with *Left Luggage*, which was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
