Biography

Jesslyn Fax was a Canadian-American actress known for her appearances in several classic films. She played the role of "Miss Hearing Aid" in Alfred Hitchcock's *Rear Window* (1954), a supporting part that contributed to the film's ensemble cast. In 1958, she appeared as Miss Hemphill in *The Man Who Died Twice*. She later portrayed Avis Grubb in *The Music Man* (1962) and an airline passenger in *The Family Jewels* (1965). Her career spanned a variety of character roles in mid-20th century cinema.
