Biography

Jonathan Scott Frakes is an American actor and director best known for his role as Commander William Riker in *Star Trek: The Next Generation* and its related films and series. He has also appeared in a variety of television and film projects, showcasing his versatility as a performer. Frakes has hosted the anthology series *Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction*, voiced characters in animated series such as *Gargoyles*, and narrated documentaries, including the History Channel's *Lee and Grant*. In addition to his acting and directing work, he is credited as the author of the novel *The Abductors: Conspiracy*, which was ghostwritten by Dean Wesley Smith.
