Biography

Linda Denise Blair is an American actress and activist best known for her role as Regan MacNeil in the 1973 horror film *The Exorcist*. Her portrayal of the possessed girl earned her critical acclaim, including a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She later reprised the role in two sequels: *Exorcist II: The Heretic* (1977) and *The Exorcist: Believer* (2023). Blair's performance in *The Exorcist* solidified her as a significant figure in horror cinema and popular culture.
