Biography
Linda Kelsey is an American actress best known for her role as Billie Newman on the CBS drama series *Lou Grant*, which aired from 1977 to 1982. In the show, she portrayed the assistant to the protagonist, a newspaper editor played by Ed Asner. Kelsey's performance earned her critical acclaim, including three Golden Globe Award nominations and five Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Her work on *Lou Grant* remains her most recognized contribution to television.
