Biography

Michael Vivian Fyfe Pennington was an English actor, director, and writer known for his contributions to theater. In 1986, he co-founded the English Shakespeare Company with director Michael Bogdanov and served as its joint artistic director until 1992. Pennington authored ten books and directed productions in the UK and internationally. He was also an honorary associate artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company, reflecting his significant influence in the world of classical theater.
