Biography
Nina Arkadyevna Shatskaya is a Russian singer and actress known for her jazz-influenced interpretations of Russian romance music. Despite maintaining a low public profile, she is regarded with high esteem by critics and fellow artists. Composer Nikita Bogoslovsky has praised her, describing her as "a true queen: lonely and untouchable," in contrast to pop "legends." Throughout her career, Shatskaya has released seven well-received albums. In recognition of her contributions to music, she was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist of Russia in 2004.
