Noah Wyle is an American actor, director, producer, and writer known for his work in television. He gained prominence for his role as Dr. John Carter on the NBC medical drama *ER* from 1994 to 2005. More recently, he has portrayed Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch on the HBO Max medical drama *The Pitt*, which began in 2025. His career has earned him six Actor Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
