Biography

Pablo Larraín Matte is a Chilean filmmaker who has directed several critically acclaimed films, including *The Club* (2015), *Neruda* (2016), *Jackie* (2016), *Spencer* (2021), *El Conde* (2023), and *Maria* (2024). His 2012 film *No* was the first Chilean film to be nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards. Larraín also co-produced *A Fantastic Woman* (2017), directed by Sebastián Lelio, which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, becoming the first Chilean film to receive that award. In 2021, he directed *Lisey's Story*, a psychological romance horror miniseries for Apple TV+.
