Paras Patel

Paras Patel is an actor known for his role as Matthew in the television series *The Chosen*. The show returned for its sixth season on November 15, with all five previous seasons available on Amazon Prime Video. As of 2026, *The Chosen* has reached over 300 million viewers and has become one of the most-watched shows globally. Patel has used the show's success to advocate for the neurodivergent community, collaborating with KultureCity, a nonprofit focused on accessibility and inclusion for individuals with invisible disabilities. He supported the organization at the previous year's "Chosen Con." Patel is also involved with *The Chosen Adventures*, an animated series streaming on Prime Video, and is set to appear in the unscripted series *The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls*, which is scheduled to premiere in the fall. Patel made his acting debut in the Freeform TV movie *Teen Spirit*, playing Raj Kukuri.
