Biography

Paul Fix was an American character actor renowned for his roles in Western films and television. Over a 56-year career from 1925 to 1981, he appeared in more than 100 movies and numerous TV shows. He is best known for his portrayal of Marshal Micah Torrance on *The Rifleman*, a Western series that aired from 1958 to 1963, where he starred opposite Chuck Connors. Fix later reunited with Connors in the 1966 Western film *Ride Beyond Vengeance*.
