Synopsis

Scout Finch, six years old, and her older brother Jem live in the quiet town of Maycomb, Alabama, where they spend much of their time with their friend Dill, observing their reclusive and mysterious neighbor, Boo Radley. When their widowed father, Atticus, a respected lawyer, takes on the defense of a Black man named Tom Robinson, who is falsely accused of rape, the trial and related events reveal to the children the realities of racism and stereotyping.
