Biography

Rachel Susan Dratch is an American actress, comedian, and writer known for her work in improvisational comedy. After graduating from Dartmouth College, she trained in Chicago at The Second City and ImprovOlympic. Dratch gained widespread recognition for her seven-year tenure as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series *Saturday Night Live* from 1999 to 2006, during which she performed a variety of memorable characters, including the famously pessimistic Debbie Downer. She has also made intermittent returns to the show to portray Senator Amy Klobuchar.
