Plan "B"

Full-time mother Hong Nga-yau and her husband Yau Tsoi-shan have a two-year-old daughter named Yau Yat-tung. The family faces ongoing stress as they live together with Nga-yau’s parents, Hong Lok and Fong Chor-kiu. Tsoi-shan secretly plans to escape Chor-kiu’s influence, but his own parents, Yau Tai-long and Kam Mei-foon, continue to create problems, keeping Tsoi-shan in a state of conflict. Nga-yau and Tsoi-shan frequently argue over how to divide parenting responsibilities, with Nga-yau determined to return to work. Meanwhile, tensions among the four elders remain unresolved. Tsoi-shan’s younger brother, Yau Tsoi-fung, and his wife Cheung Pik-chi, along with Nga-yau’s elder cousin, Ip Fan, and her husband Kwan Chi-chung, also face challenges and disagreements in raising their children. Throughout these struggles, children emerge as a central factor in helping parents seize opportunities for lifelong learning and personal growth.
