Biography
He was the husband of actress Marlene Dietrich, whom he introduced to Josef von Sternberg, leading to her starring role in *The Blue Angel* (1930). Although they lived together for only the first five years of their marriage, Sieber and Dietrich never divorced. At the time of his death, following a lengthy illness, Sieber was living on a chicken ranch in the San Fernando Valley.
