Biography

Louis Burton Lindley, known professionally as Slim Pickens, was an American actor and rodeo performer who began his career in rodeo before moving into acting. He appeared in numerous films and television shows, often being cast in cowboy roles. His comedic performances include appearances in *Dr. Strangelove*, *Blazing Saddles* and *1941*, while he also played a villainous part in *One‑Eyed Jacks* alongside Marlon Brando.
