Biography

Terry Kiser was an American actor whose career spanned more than 50 years and included over 140 acting credits. He is best known for his role as the deceased title character, Bernie Lomax, in the comedy film *Weekend at Bernie's* and its sequel, *Weekend at Bernie's II*. In these films, Kiser's character, though dead for much of the runtime, remains central to the plot, with his friends attempting to maintain the illusion that he is still alive. Kiser's performance in the role became one of his most iconic and memorable contributions to film.
