Biography

W. Donn Hayes was an American film editor who worked in Hollywood from the 1910s to the 1950s. Born in 1893, he was employed by major studios including Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Fox Film, and Paramount Pictures. Hayes contributed to the film industry during its early and golden eras, and was sometimes credited as "Donn Hayes." He died in 1973, leaving a legacy in the field of film editing.
