Aladdin
Aladdin, now a palace resident and betrothed to Princess Jasmine, must outwit sorcerers, thieves, and magical threats with the help of his clever companions—Genie, Abu, the Magic Carpet, and the sardonic Iago—in this animated adventure series.
Aladdin is an animated television series produced by Walt Disney Television that aired from 1994 to 1995. It is based on the 1992 feature film of the same name. The series was animated at Slightly Offbeat Productions Studios in Penrose, Auckland, New Zealand. Following the direct-to-video sequel The Return of Jafar, the show continues the story with Aladdin now living in the palace and engaged to Princess Jasmine, who is both beautiful and spirited. Aladdin and Jasmine face various dangers involving sorcerers, monsters, and thieves, aided by their companions: the mischievous monkey Abu, the animated Magic Carpet, the quick-witted, shape-shifting Genie, and the sarcastic parrot Iago, who was once Jafar’s pet but now serves as an antihero. Jafar, who was previously destroyed in the second movie, appears in only one episode, which also functions as a crossover with Hercules: The Animated Series.
