In 2048, all police officers are required to work in partnership with a robot. Detective John Kennex returns to duty after emerging from a 17-month coma. As he readjusts to his role, he is assigned a new partner, Dorian, an outdated android displaying unanticipated emotional behaviors. Kennex must also navigate relationships with his new colleagues.
