Numbuhs 3 and 4 embark on a mission to break the "Ridiculous" space barrier, only to lose consciousness during flight and awaken on an alien planet where sentient, humanoid Rainbow Monkeys hold dominion.

The episode takes place at an annual children's 2x4 technology science fair, where Numbuh 2 aggressively promotes his product, "I Can't Believe It's Not Booger," to the judges.

Following the events of Operation: S.C.I.E.N.C.E., a shadowy adversary begins abducting KND scientists, prompting Sector V to send Numbuh 2 into concealment within an Amish sector, much to his frustration.

Lizzie feels overlooked by Nigel, as he often prioritizes his duties with the Kids Next Door, and she becomes suspicious when she believes he may have started seeing someone new.

Sector V intercepts a mission sending Numbuh 4's family to establish a lunar colony and reroutes the spacecraft to Hollywood. There, they orchestrate a staged colonization to mislead both the Beetles family and adult mission control, in an effort to conceal the existence of the KND Moonbase.

The Kids Next Door and the Teens prepare to sign a mutual non-interference treaty, but it is revealed to be a trap set for the KND. Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 274 are wrongfully accused and forced to clear their names by preventing the treaty's signing.
