Ten years have passed since Goku left his friends and family to train and improve his skills. However, Goku soon finds himself overwhelmed by the mystical power of the Dragon Balls and an accidental wish made by the devious Emperor Pilaf. The wish causes Goku to revert to childhood once more. Along with Trunks and his granddaughter Pan, Goku embarks on a journey to the outer reaches of space in search of the mysterious Blackstar Dragon Balls. These Dragon Balls, however, hold a deadly secret: if they are not all collected within one year, Earth will be destroyed.
