Drake and Josh are fifteen-year-old schoolmates who are not close friends. Drake considers Josh to be eccentric and somewhat goofy. He is surprised when he learns that this "goof" is about to become his new stepbrother and roommate after his mother marries Josh's father. The series is a spin-off of *The Amanda Show*.
