Dying Eye

Amemura Shinsuke, a bartender at a bar in Nishi Azabu, Tokyo, is attacked one night by a male stranger and loses part of his memories. He later discovers that he was responsible for the death of Kishinaka Minae in a traffic accident one and a half years earlier. The attacker, who later committed suicide, was Minae's husband, Reiji. Those around Shinsuke often advise him not to dwell on painful memories, which leads him to question the true circumstances of the accident. One rainy night, when he returns to the bar, Ruriko, a woman in mourning clothes and of otherworldly beauty, suddenly appears. From that moment on, Shinsuke is drawn into a world of madness and anguish. Whether Ruriko is real or a product of his guilty conscience remains uncertain.
