Melissa Schultz, Cornell's ex-girlfriend and current head of the company, provides an intriguing revelation to Liv and Clive. Meanwhile, Peyton works on sustaining positive public relations for zombies in the city. At the same time, Blaine becomes fascinated after meeting Al Bronson from Bluster Magazine, as she turns out to be quite different from what he anticipated.

During their investigation into the death of 19-year-old independently wealthy individual Harris Miller, Liv, channeling a Ferris Bueller-like energy, tries to lift Ravi's spirits after he begins to spiral following some distressing news. At the same time, Clive, after sustaining a fall at the crime scene, is compelled to continue his investigation remotely via FaceTime. In the meantime, Blaine's situation takes a sudden and worsening turn.

After consuming the brain of the ultimate matchmaker, Liv is determined to find the perfect match for Major. Meanwhile, Blaine will stoop to any level to protect himself. Lastly, Don E contemplates an interesting offer.

During an investigation into the murder of Eleanor Barba, a chef at a high-end restaurant, Liv consumes her brain and becomes an unrelenting perfectionist who knows how to break a person to their very core. At the same time, Major is on a mission to uncover who is betraying the commander.

Liv and Ravi each consume the brain of a very dislikable car salesman and inherit his competitive nature.

Liv and Clive investigate the murder of Miss Teen Seattle beauty pageant contestant Laurie-Beth Spano, who suffered anaphylactic shock onstage in 1999 and fell into a coma. At the time, police arrested rival contender Velma Charlet for spiking Laurie-Beth's makeup, resulting in a four-year sentence. In the present day, Laurie-Beth has died, and Clive has arrested Velma for her murder. Velma claims innocence, while Liv consumes Laurie-Beth's brain in an attempt to identify the true killer.

While investigating the murder of private eye Mick Chisel, who was stabbed in the head with an ice pick, Liv consumes Chisel’s brain in hopes of breaking down how the gruesome murder took place.

Liv and Clive investigate the death of an old school drag queen, which leads Liv to eat and shift into the queen's brain. Meanwhile, Ravi reaches out to Major with an interesting request.

As Major contends with shifting circumstances in Seattle, Liv, Clive, and Ravi embark on an impossible mission in Atlanta to recover the final zombie cure.

As Liv, Ravi, and Clive work to finalize the cure, Peyton confronts Blaine, while Major takes a bold risk to save Seattle permanently.
